What changed vs Option A: two islands instead of four, no Dubrovnik, and you route inland straight from Split rather than down the coast. That cuts ~1 day and ~CHF 380, and shifts the saved time onto Belgrade. Brač (Bol) adds a kitesurf/windsurf option, which the Option-A islands didn't.

The mechanics: the islands sit right off Split, so you ferry Split→Hvar→Brač, then a short ferry Brač→Split back to the mainland, and pick up the Split→Mostar bus. No backtracking penalty because Dubrovnik is dropped.

Optional gold: Vis is one ferry from Hvar if you change your mind about the Blue Cave + diving; Mostar can become an overnight instead of a lunch stop.
